Have you ever had the feeling that you have known someone you just met? Or that you lived in a different place and a different time? Have you tried to find the source of a problem in your current life but to no avail? Are you simply curious about if reincarnation exists, whom you might have been in a previous life?
The beauty of doing a past life regression is that you do not have to believe in reincarnation to experience it or reap benefit. It will be up to you to determine whether you believe it was a bonafide past life, or symbolic of your current experience. What you will find is that it holds specific meaning that can give you a new perspective. A past life regression can rapidly shed light on relationships, health, career, and other issues. Many people come for a past life regression purely out of curiosity. Using past life regression to discover “who you were before you were you” requires no dogma, no specific beliefs, just an open mind. What you discover may surprise you! Past life regression is set up in two sessions. The first session meets for an hour and allows us to discuss in more detail what you would like to get from the regression. It also gives you a chance to experience hypnosis, if it is new to you, and to lay the groundwork for the past life regression. The second session, usually scheduled within a week of the first session, lasts for two hours.
What to expect
Dr. Bennett will gently guide you into a relaxed state and help to facilitate experiencing the inner sights, sounds, feelings, and perceptions that arise, as your waking mind moves off to the side as an observer. You do not lose waking consciousness, as you do while asleep and dreaming, but you do become more aware of your inner senses. It may initially feel like you are just “using your imagination” but as you follow and describe whatever you are experiencing, you will tend to become more involved and things will unfold on their own. Some people experience a range of emotions, others remain more in an “observer” role. After the regression, when you have returned to your waking awareness, you may want to discuss the meaning the regression had for you. It is quite common for people to gain additional insight about the connection between the past life regression and their current life issues, for a few days, or even years afterwards.
Dr. Bennett has been guiding people through past lives since the 1970s and specializes in its use. She also has taught and given public presentations on this topic.
I can’t guarantee that a past-life-regression from Virginia Bennett will change your life as it did mine, since the ones I had with her were my first, and opened some amazing doors. What I can say, though, is that Dr. Bennett has several qualities that recommend her for this kind of therapy. Of course, she’s calm and caring and knows how to get you into a mild hypnotic state. That’s pretty much a baseline. And, of course, she’s a genuine Ph.D. holding psychotherapist with years and years of experience. That’s more than most in this field. What sets her apart, though, in my view, is her remarkably non-dogmatic and curious mind. That makes her open to choosing what works best for you, the patient. If you want to find you own truth, and not somebody else’s I’d highly recommend her. Besides, she’s a truly genuine human being.
